MacDonalds experiment diet

About 15 years ago back in 1992 we unfortunately did a MacDonalds experiment diet for 12 months eating 66 percent MacDonalds food. Below are some of the results from the MacDonalds diet. A body that seems irreparable, but I am trying with the help of Scott Colby and Tom Venutto.

Mind you during that time we were frequenting Wendy’s also. Which gave me the runs every time probably due to the high content of fat in Wendy’s ice cream. You will all be pleased to know we now only try to eat MacDonalds, Wendy’s and the like once a month at the most.

Most macdonalds problems, and Wendy’s problems, seem to stem from the fact that they are both very high fat and high carbohydrate foods. This was found when we did the Zone diet. Now we are much more health conscious which is part of why we started the-doctors.info to help enlighten other people around the world of health problems.

Alzheimer’s disease hints help info

Dementia is now a major problem amongst retired people especially the type known as Alzheimer’s disease; currently the most common form of dementia among older people. Alzheimer’s disease primarily affects the memory centers of their brain with ten percent of over 65 year olds affected; the diagnosis of the disorder has managed to reach an accuracy of up to ninety four percent. Alois Alzheimer a German physician first discovered the disease back in 1906 but it has only really been in the world’s focus for just over 30 years; even though it has been scientifically studied for many years, knowledge surrounding this disease is minimal.

Studies show that your greatest risk of acquiring Alzheimer’s is advancing age. Many people experiencing the first signs of Alzheimer’s are unwilling to admit to themselves or others that there is anything wrong.

Alzheimer’s disease is currently treated exactly the same as other forms of dementia. Some drugs can now slow down and sometimes improve the symptoms but so far no treatment has been discovered that can cure the disorder. At the moment, three drugs are used routinely to treat sufferers all of which have been approved by the FDA, Donepezil, Tacrine, and Rivastigmine. They can improve the cognitive skills of Alzheimer’s disease sufferers by up to six months.

A new drug, Memantine is helping to slow down the deterioration process during the later stages and is a derivative of the well known anti-influenza drug Amantadine. Patients with mild to severe Alzheimer’s who are already receiving Donepezil are now given Memantine as an alternative. The side effects of using Memantine are low, and it’s the first drug shown to have an effect on the symptoms of moderate to severe cases. More than 80 percent of the Memantine excreted are unchanged by the kidneys.

As the fourth largest cause of death in America, Alzheimer’s disease is thought to be one of the largest public health problems. This is due to an increase in the life expectancy of the populations in the industrialized world. There is also an economic aspect to consider, with an annual cost of 40 billion US dollars for care and treatment. Last year alone, the National Institute on Aging spent nearly one-half of its budget on research related to this insidious disease. Over 300 different compounds are already at various stages of development for its treatment.

Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is one proven method you can use to reduce the risks of contracting dementia. Studies have also indicated that a number of Alzheimer’s patients have reduced their rate of decline by staying healthy and happy. Fortunately this disease is still mainly affecting elderly people but there have been recent occasions where younger persons have developed this disease.

We have noticed when working at nursing centres such as Tarry Brae at Brookfield QLD Australia and the like that. On the bright side most of the people we have worked with that have Alzheimer’s disease always enjoy as with you and I a good laugh. These people with Alzheimer’s disease also usually have a good attitude due to the fact they cannot remember so they do not stress out as much.

Doctors info for blogging use WLW

I have just sent a post over to blog at tecacentre.net in which I wrote about my first experience of Windows live writer affectionately known as WLW.

I am recommending this software to you for the sake of ease to help you get all your blogs into the one location. I do believe with your busy lifestyles you can save some time by not having to wait for your service to load or remember all those different addresses and passwords.

All you have to do is put them into WLW once and your set. This is the second blog I have put into WLW and since Joe from Microsoft helped me out with a frustrating problem I have not yet had another one.

Currently this version is still in beta but I am sure you will be anxious to get your hands on WLW. Once you try it I feel you will be so impressed you won’t go back to blogging the old way.  Not just doctors am I recommending WLW to but for the sake of everyone’s health I feel they should use it.

I get nothing from Microsoft for these reviews so please feel free to take me at face value and TRUST ME YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.

Thank you for your time.
